The minimum requirements for Macintosh Internet Explorer 5.x are as follows:

- Macintosh Operating System 7.6.1 or later

- 8 MB or RAM with virtual memory enabled

To empty the Cache in Internet Explorer 5.x

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

3. In Internet Explorer Preferences, double-click the Web Browser menu.

4. Under Web Browser, select Advanced.

5. Under Cache, click Empty Now.

6. Click OK to close the Internet Explorer Preferences window.
