The Cache Memory
This system board is equipped with 256KB of Pipeline Burst Cache Memory, and a socket for a proprietary 256KB PB Cache Module to upgrade the total cache to 512KB if needed. This cache upgrade module is for this board only, it is not compatible with our other models of system boards or with system boards from other manufacturers.

Some Cache Memory Considerations:
If cache is upgraded to 512KB, jumper JP3 must be set to 1 ~ 2.
Maximum Second Level Cache can not exceed 512KB.

Possible Cache Memory Configurations:
==============================================
ONBOARD    CACHE     TOTAL
 CACHE     MODULE    CACHE    JUMPER JP3
----------------------------------------------
 256KB       NONE       256KB         2-3
 256KB       256KB      512KB         1-2

The Memory
This system board can support up to 128MB main memory wtih 4 auto banking 72-pin SIMM slots for Fast Page Mode or EDO DRAM, and 1 168-pin DIMM socket for Fast Page Mode DRAM, EDO DRAM, or SDRAM.

Some Memory Considerations:
If Bank 0 of SIMM sockets is to be used, then the DIMM socket CANNOT be used.
If the DIMM socket is to be used, then Bank 0 of SIMM sockets CANNOT be used.
All SIMM sockets are compatible with Fast Page Mode and EDO DRAM SIMM modules.
The DIMM socket is compatible with Fast Page Mode, EDO DRAM and SDRAM modules.
If a SDRAM module is installed in the DIMM socket, jumper JP1 & JP2 must be set to 3.3V.
Maximum memory on-board can not exceed 128MB in any combination.

Voltage Requirements:
There are 2 categories of memory modules in regard to their voltage requirement. The memory modules' voltage requirement must be obtained from the manufacturer of the memory modules. However, the following can serve as a general guideline.
SIMM - Fast Page Mode & EDO DRAM, can be 3.3V or 5.0V.
DIMM - Fast Page Mode & EDO DRAM, can be 3.3V or 5.0V.
DIMM - SDRAM (Sync. DRAM), can be 3.3V only.
All SIMM sockets are for 5.0V memory modules only.
The DIMM socket is compatible with 3.3V and 5.0V memory modules.

Possible Memory Configurations:
