Removing the Fan
Removal
1. Perform the preparation for disassembly procedures.
2. Remove the hood.
3. Disconnect power cable from system board.
4. Remove the screw on the rear of the chassis at the top of the fan grid.  End of sequence.
5. Separate the fan from the chassis by depressing the four tabs on the fan at the rear of the computer.
6. Disconnect the fan cable (P4) from the system board.

Replacement
To replace the fan, reverse the removal procedure.
