Serial Port

Removing Serial Port
Removal
1. Perform the preparation for disassembly procedures.
2. Remove the hood.
3. Disconnect the serial cable from connector J8 (or J47 for models 5650, 5665, 5673, 5676, 5677) on the system board.
4. Remove the screwlocks that secure the serial port to the chassis and pull the serial port cable out of the chassis.

Replacement
To replace the serial port, reverse the removal procedure.
