& 5100 Series boards)
This page shows the removal and replacement procedure for a
Celeron processor. A Pentium II processor may also be used on 5000 and 5100 series boards
(it is standard on the 5030-5150 series boards). Click this link for the Pentium II removal/replacement procedure.

properly aligned in the goal posts before plugging it into the system board. |

CAUTION: Before installing a new processor, see Jumper and Switch Information to reset the jumpers for the
processor. If the processor is installed with the incorrect jumper settings, the processor
and system board may be damaged. |
