    • JP9: Two-Pin Thermal Control Fan Connector, Pin 1: +12V, Pin 2: Ground (This fan is powered only when the CPU detected temperature is higher than the BIOS " CPU Overheat Warning Temperature" setting)
    • J41: Three-Pin Thermal Control Fan Connector, Pin 1: Ground, Pin 2: +12V, Pin3: Tachometer Signal
    • J42: Overheat LED Connector, Pin1: +12V, Pin2: Ground

     

  • Power On Control:
    • JP24: Power_ON Control,
      • pin 1-2: Power Up Automatically With The First Time AC power Applied
      • pin 2-3 (default): Controlled By The Power_ON Jumper (JF2  pin9 and pin10). (Only PCB REV2.1 and above can support this feature.)
    • WOL:Wake-On-LAN Connector,(optional)  pin1: +5V Standby Power, pin2: Ground, pin3:Wake Up Pulse

     

  • Others:
    • J7: BIOS Boot Block Protect, Pin1-2: Flashable(Default), Pin2-3: Protect,  J7 has to be set in position Pin1-2 when BIOS is to be flashed.
    • J43: IRQ for PC Health monitor IC, NS LM78, Open: Default
    • J44: Three-Pin CPU Fan Connector, Pin 1: Ground, Pin 2: +12V, Pin3: Tachometer Signal

  • Difference Between SUPER P5MMA98 and SUPER P5MMA II:
    • Basically, SUPER P5MMA98 and SUPER P5MMA II are shared the same design, PCB and BIOS file.
    • SUPER P5MMA II does not assemble on-board PC Health Monitor IC (National Semiconductor's LM78).
    • Some items in BIOS "Peripheral" Section will be grayed out, if LM78chip   is not present.
