abstract

This file contains an updated Netware print server (NLM 4.11).

installation

1. Rename the current PSERVER.NLM in the SYSTEM directory and copy the included PSERVER.NLM.

 2. Unload the PSERVER and load the new PSERVER.

symptoms

Symptoms for PSERVER.NLM:
    1. Printing will stop with jobs still in the queue(s) in an
active state. This symptom was seen with PSERVER versions prior
to 4.10.
    2. Some of the bindery related print server API's were not
supported in versions of PSERVER.NLM prior to the included
4.11 version. This would be evident in some 3rd party printing
applications.
    3. If the print server is unloaded and reloaded the print jobs in
the queue(s) will resume printing.

troubleshooting

If the print server is unloaded and reloaded the print jobs in the queue(s) will resume printing.

cause

ECBs not being released for further use.

solutions
