abstract

This version of CHKDIR fixes the problem seen when used with any directory with the pattern of ?h*.*. for example, CHKDIR ah returned a response of "usage: CHKDIR [path]".

installation

1) Flag CHKDIR.EXE as SRW (Sharable Read Write) in the PUBLIC directory.

2) Rename CHKDIR.EXE to CHKDIR.old in the PUBLIC directory for backup purposes.

3) Copy CHKDIR.EXE to the PUBLIC directory on your system.

4) Flag the new copy of CHKDIR.EXE back to SRO (Sharable Read-Only).
