This file contains version 310 of NetWare Directory Services for NetWare 4.01/4.02.

1. The UPD310.EXE file removes the old version of NetWare Directory Services (NDS) out of SERVER.EXE and inserts the new version in place of it.

   To do this, place UPD310.EXE in the same directory as SERVER.EXE and type "UPD310". The following text will be displayed on screen.

   Old server is SERVER.OLD
   Updated server is SERVER.EXE

2. UPD310 copies the original SERVER.EXE to SERVER.OLD then patches SERVER.EXE. If you want to revert to the original version of NetWare Directory Services, rename SERVER.OLD to an .EXE extension then execute that program.

3. Because Novell licensing is not handled through the SERVER.EXE file, you can copy it to all the file servers in the tree.
