abstract

This version of NETUSER.EXE resolves the following issue:
A user hold was default on all print jobs sent to a queue captured through NETUSER.

installation

NOTE: Always make a backup of applicable files before applying new fixes.

1) Flag NETUSER.EXE contained in the PUBLIC directory normal or sharable, read/write.

     FLAG NETUSER.EXE N -or- FLAG NETUSER.EXE S RW

2) Rename NETUSER.EXE contained in the PUBLIC directory to NETUSER.ORG.

3) Copy the NETUSER.EXE provided with this update into the PUBLIC directory.

4) Flag the new NETUSER.EXE sharable, read only.
     
     FLAG NETUSER.EXE S RO

issue

The User Hold property is set by default for any capture performed through NETUSER.EXE. The version of NETUSER.EXE contained in this file (NETUSR.EXE) turns off the User Hold default setting for capture.
