abstract

Envoy document detailing the solutions for migrating from an existing NetWare
platform to NetWare 4.11.

installation

Run MIGREVY.EXE on a Windows 95 / NT workstation.

issue

There are three methods to migrate from a 3.x NetWare product to NetWare 4.11.

The first method is Migrating using DSMIGRATE. This is a Windows-based migration that contains both a Bindery migration and a File migration.

The second method uses a Dos based migrate.exe utility. This utility allows you to migrate the bindery, files, and trustees all at once, or one at a time.

The third method is using Novell Migration Wizard. This uses a GUI interface that walks you through the entire migration process.
