If an earlier version is needed, use 00N8645 (Version 1.01) The Advanced System Management (ASM) software enhanced the monitoring algorithms to eliminate transient readings both while the system is running as well as when the system is being powered off and on from the front panel or when AC power is removed. This should eliminate spurious temperature and voltage readings from being put in the system event log. Improved the installation utility with the ability to display information on the ASM levels that are installed on the system before they flash update the software as well as after they do the flash. 00N8641 Version 1.00 will update the IBM Netfinity Advanced System Management PCI Adapter software. It will not affect any device drivers. This diskette should be used to update your Advanced System Management PCI Adapter only when installed as an option in a system containing the built in Advanced System Management Processor. If the Advanced System Management PCI Adapter came standard with your system such as the Netfinity 7000-M10, there is a separate diskette for your system. 00N8686 Contains an updated Service Processor configuration tool. The utility provides additional configuration functionality for Advanced System Management Processor and Advanced System Management PCI Adapter over the release file on the option CD.
