TP 770Z - Lotus SmartSuite Millenium hangs during installation under Windows NT

Symptom:
During the installation of Lotus SmartSuite Millennium version 9.0, the installation process hangs during the examination of the system, before it actually begins copying files to the hard drive.

Configuration:
ThinkPad 770Z with the Windows NT preload

Solution:
Double click on the Microsoft Service Pack 4 icon on the desktop to install Service Pack 4 for Windows NT. After the installation is complete, install Lotus SmartSuite Millennium.

Additional information:
The file COMCTL32.DLL, which is needed for the SmartSuite installation to complete, is outdated. Microsoft Service Pack 4 for Windows NT contains an updated version of this driver so it is necessary to install the Service Pack 4 prior to installing SmartSuite.
