PC Server 320 - IBM UltraStar drive fails to initialize in hot-swap backplane

SYMPTOM:
Fast/Wide UltraStar drive fails to initialize in PC Server 320 hot-swap backplane.
RESOLUTION:
1. Interposers, if present, should be removed from ALL UltraStar drives.
2. Verify termination.
NOTE: Due to increased load capacity, it is recommended that all 50-pin devices are connected to a separate cable when using UltraStar drives with Adaptec controllers. Otherwise, bus time-outs may occur.
