Servers - PCI Hot Plug NT 4.0 Error Messages

SYMPTOM:
Each time a network adapter is hot-added on any version of IBM PCI Hot Plug NT 4.0, error messages are logged in the System Event Log.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
The event viewer shows event #2505.
The error message is 'duplicate names on the network.'
The number of messages logged is twice the number of network adapters installed.
FIX:
There is no software fix or work-around known to be available for this problem. There is no ill effect observed on the performance of the network or system. The logged messages are NOT harmful to the health of the system in any way.
