TP 760E/ED/EL/ELD/X/XD - Speakers Disabled in SelectaDock
Applicable to: World-Wide
SYMPTOM:
760E* Speakers Disabled when Hot/Warm docked in SelectaDock
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad 760E/ED/EL/ELD/XL/XD
SOLUTION:
When PCI systems such as ThinkPad 760E/ED/EL/ELD are docked hot (in powered-on state) or warm (in suspend mode), the computer disables computer speakers and enables line-out. Since the line-out is enabled automatically, the external speakers attached to the SelectaDock system are operational. However, audio sound from the computer speakers is disabled. If an audio from computer speakers is desired, the system should be docked in cold mode.
