Applicable to: EMEA
Abstract:
TP 380 (2635-8A0) CONTAINS ONLY 1 X 2GB PARTITION
Text:
A problem has been identified with TP 380XD (2635-8A0 only) where the HDD contains only one 2GB partition. This should be 1 x 2GB and 1 x 1GB, leaving 1GB of unpartitioned freespace.
The Fix is to:
A) FDISK and FORMAT the remaining space or
B) Download the fix diskette by clicking here.
This bootable diskette will only work if the D: drive does NOT exist. It will go through the process of FDISK and FORMAT and will produce a PASS/FAIL message on completion.
This tip is also available as PartnerInfo document DSHY-3X3PMK. This document contains step-by-step information on the usage of FDISK and FORMAT and is intended for end users.
