Description These are the latest drivers for Mwave-equipped Aptiva 2144/2168-Mxx systems which were preloaded with OS/2 & DOS/Windows 3.1 as the operating system. These drivers provide 28.8Kbps data capability and 14.4Kbps capability. These drivers will function, but are NOT recommended for the 2144/2168-Mxx and 2144/2168-Axx systems preloaded with Windows 95. To obtain drivers for these models see note below. (US) The first diskette of each group of files contains a README.TXT file which can be viewed after the files have been downloaded and extracted for further technical information on these files. You may not need all files, see the listing below to determine which files you should install. See Additional Information for more details.

Additional Information:	NOTE: To obtain the latest Mwave drivers for the 2144/2168-Mxx and 2144/2168-Axx machines preloaded with Windows '95 click here . To find out what version of Mwave you currently have, do the following: 1. From a C:\ Prompt type: CD MWW\MANAGER 2. From the C:\MWW\MANAGER directory type: MWLEVELS 3. Press "ENTER". 4. A screen will come up with information about your drivers. Check the line which reads: INSTALLATION=. The line should read as follows: INSTALLATION=TPOEMMAS60AE7 or INSTALLATION=OEMW95MAS65N 5. If this line shows another version (APTWINMAS55F5D, TPOEMMAS60AE, etc) you MUST download and install these diskettes. Be certain that all files are downloaded and installed at the same time. To download the files, read the following: 1. Click on file icon, 2. Pick OK to copy file to your local disk, 3. Save as file name, "MWOS201" (or MWWIN01, etc.) and select drive "C" . Choose OK. This will download the file to your hard disk. 4. At a DOS or OS/2 prompt type the file name, "MWOS201" (or MWMIDI01, etc.). This command will explode the file from the hard drive to a floppy disk. Follow the prompts and insert a floppy disk into drive A. Installation instructions can be found in the README.TXT file on the diskette once it is created. You may view the README.TXT file by using a text editor, i.e. type "e a:\readme.txt" at a C:\ prompt.
