TP 770X - Considerations for Windows 98
Applicable to: World-Wide
Below is a list of considerations for running Windows 98 on your ThinkPad 770X
- MPEG movie window size is not automatically changing when toggling between the LCD and TV. As a result, the movie size is not fitting properly in the full screen / maximized playback window. To recover from this scenario, close the MPEG file and restart it. This will be corrected with the next release of the DVDExpress application. Please check back later for information on how to obtain the new version.
- MediaPlayer hangs when toggling the screens (FN+F7) while playing MPEG-2 files using ActiveMovie from the MediaPlayer menu. To correct this symptom, use ActiveMovie directly to play the MPEG-2 file. This will be corrected with the next release of the DVDExpress application and video driver. Please check back later for information on how to obtain these updated drivers.
- LCD screen is blank after resuming from suspend mode when the multimonitor function is enabled and the refresh rate is set higher than 60Hz. To correct this symptom, set the monitor refresh rate to 60Hz. This will be corrected with the next release of the video driver. Please check back later for information on how to obtain the new version.
- No video is displayed after toggling the display from the TV to the LCD after the following operation: Playback of MPEG-2 file ==> Maximize the window ==> Pause the movie. To recover from this scenario, stop the MPEG-2 file and then restart it.
