TP 560,760,765 - Fatal Exception 0E resuming from a suspend

SYMPTOM:
A Fatal Exception 0E in VxD apix.vxd when resuming from a suspend operation. (Memory location appears somewhat variable)
CONFIGURATION:
ThinkPads with Windows 95 OSR2
Adaptec SCSI PCMCIA Card
EZ-SCSI version 4.0
SOLUTION:
Copy over a backup of the original apix.vxd:
- Change to the c:\windows\system\iosubsys directory
- Rename apix.vxd to apix.old
- Copy apix.bak to apix.vxd
- Shutdown and reboot.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Windows 95 APIX.VXD dated 7/11/95 and has a size of 29,404 Bytes.
Adaptic's Easy SCSI APIX.VXD dated 10/19/95 and size of 29,340 Bytes
One caveat:
It is uncertain what sort of functionality to expect out of the SCSI adapter after replacing this driver, some devices appear to work OK, others appear not to.
