Response:

Ordered atldd.driver for customer

Response:

Response:

Customer has shut down UniTree product.

He does a mount command through mtlib:

mtlib -l /dev/lmcp1 -f /dev/rmt7 -V 000011 -m

The command errors out with:
mount operation failed, device not available.
Yet the device is available when he does,
lsdev -Cc tape

Had his issue this command for the drive that was not working:

mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -f /dev/rmt7 -qD

Device data:
        mounted volser....none
        device category...0000
device state......Device installed in the library.
                          ACL is installed.
        device class......10

He issued this same command on a drive that was working and got
this:

Device data:
        mounted volser....none
        device category...0000
device state......Device installed in the library.
                          Device available to Library.
                          ACL is installed.
        device class......10

( Not sure about device class )

On the system with the problem,
the 'Device available to Library.' line does not appear.

Next:
Customer will try to make device available through the 3494 console.

Response:

Response:

On the control work-station the customer made the drive available
to the library:

Service Option
        Availability
                Change Availability
                        (Check Boxes will appear)

Customer checked the drives as available then the mtlib command
worked.
