Process indicator values are off

Question:

Env:
  AIX 3.2.5
  RISC 590
  Sysback 3.3.1.4

Desc:
Did a backup using this command in smit:

  mkdirback -f/dev/rmt0 -x -D '/ / /usr /usr / /

     -------------+--------------------+----------------+--------------
        % Complete | Elapsed Time | Megabytes | Kbytes/Sec
      -------------+--------------------+----------------+--------------
            14 | 2 minutes of 19 | 80 of 566 | 487

The output from the df command shows this:

Filesystem Total KB free %used iused %iused Mounted on
/dev/hd4 24576 11432 53% 989 16% /
/dev/hd9var 16384 12588 23% 475 11% /var
/dev/hd2 688128 7936 98% 29193 16% /usr
/dev/hd3 147456 67668 54% 281 0% /tmp
/dev/lv03 65536 13800 78% 1625 9% /home
/dev/sblv 307200 227820 25% 19 0% /usr/lpp/sysback/images

/usr alone is 500 mb in size

I am confused on the 566mb value. Is that number rolling over
or what??

Action:
Tested this out in the lab
 mkdirback -f/dev/rmt0 -x -D '/usr /usr'
and mine came out even worse:

                               ESTIMATED PROGRESS
 -------------+--------------------+----------------+--------------
   % Complete | Elapsed Time | Megabytes | Kbytes/Sec
 -------------+--------------------+----------------+-------------
      -38 | 9 minutes of -24 | 116 of -303 | 213

Currently being tested.

Response:

Action:
This was a problem caused by a limitation in the korm shell. No
arithmatec can be performed on values exceeding 2 gigabytes, in your
case, several /usr's and /'s combined. Modified /usr/sbin/sbfilespace
to accept -m argument so it will display total megabytes instead of
total bytes. Therefore, all calculations are done in sbfilespace
instead of the shell.

This change affected the mkvgback, mkdirback and mkjfsback commands.

Fixed in sysback 3.3.1.9
