Need help setting up Netview/6000.

Question:

I have a model 360 with 64 Megs of RAM and 2 1 Gig drives. This is
connected to a 220 diskless workstation with 16 Megs of RAM. I have
Netview/6000 on the 360, but need some help configuring it and setting
it up on the 220. Is the 16 Megs a limit here? I have AIXWindows on
the filetree for the 220 and AIXWindows is running on the 220. Can
you help me?

Response:

220 has a shared /usr filesystem. This prevents NV from being loaded
and used on the 220. NV writes to /usr.

16 MB is not enough memory to run NV/6000. 48 is the bare bones
minimum.

Customer will load x-windows and NV on the 360 then use the export
DISPLAY option to display on the 220.

Response:

What does U411928 do?

Provides fixes for snmpd memory leaks and an tcp run away process if
an NV session running remotely is not terminated normally.
