Does AIX have an equivalent to the truss command?

Desc:   Is there an equivalent command on AIX for the truss
        command?

Action: The truss command allows you to trace a single process.
        AIX does not have the truss command.  In fact, the truss
        command is not included in the POSIX or OSF standards
        either.  AIX does have the system trace utility that can 
        be invoked through SMIT or on the command line.  However,
        this does not provide the ability to trace a single process.
        Another option would be to use dbx or xde commands to attach
        to an application that has been compiled with the -g (debugger)
        option.
