Here is a large collection (over 500 disks) of public
domain diskettes for the IBM PC. Some of the diskettes
are in the "freeware" and "shareware" categories; the
author may encourage you to make a donation to him or her
if you like the program or to pay a registration fee. In
any case, these diskettes contain a great deal of soft-
ware which you may be able to use directly or can modify
to suit your needs. These are user-donated programs and
are not necessarily as nicely done as the corresponding
commercial programs (i.e., no guarantees!). The format
used is MSDOS compatible.
