I have just purchased a Tandberg 3660 (250MB SCSI Tape) to provide backup
services on my home BBS server. I'm running with a Adaptec 1542B and OS/2
2.0 at current patch levels. Various utilities like SCSICNTL, and the Adaptec
BIOS all report the drive as being at SCSI ID 4.

Whenever I attempt to access the drive, I get the message:

Fatal SCSI Error: SCSI Manager Ioctl failure.

I'm running the GTAK100 utilities, using the ASPITAPE.SYS included in
that package. The problem occurs with both the latest beta ASPISCSI.DMD and
the previous beta code that was reported to support GTAK100.

Relevant (?) CONFIG.SYS statements:

SET TAPE=+++TAPE$4
PRIORITY_DISK_IO=NO
BASEDEV=IBMINT13.I13
BASEDEV=OS2DASD.DMD
BASEDEV=AHA154X.ADD
BASEDEV=OS2SCSI.DMD
BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD
DEVICE=C:\OS2UTIL\ASPITAPE.SYS TAPE$4 4 S1

Suggestion and comments please.
