I'm having a problem with a 1542b and a soundblaster pro board. The
problem is that the machine will hang(requiring reboot) whenever the
soundboard is used. Removing the 1542 card clears up the problem. I've
checked the jumpers for the io port, irq and dma channels and they are
different so I'm at a loss as to where the conflict is. The 1542b always
performs flawlessly whether the soundboard card is present or not.
I load the aspi4 driver low and have tried different combinations of
switches to no avail.

Has anyone gotten this combination to work? Any insights are greatly
appreciated.
