             *  Send email to alt-what-ever@cs.utexas.edu to post to 
                the group alt.what.ever (note hypen/dot substitution).

             *  ftp to heinous.isca.uiowa.edu and get the file
                /ftp/pub/inet/usenet.via.email
             *  Panda.isca.uiowa.edu (see also list of addresses below)
