 How To Run
Ľ

Before attempting to run this tutorial, make sure you unZIPped it using
the following syntax:

PKUNZIP ABGTE2.ZIP -D

The data files, graphic files and demo program source are stored in
separate directories. If you did not UNZIP it using the syntax above,
erase the tutorial off the hard drive and reinstall from the ZIP file
again using the syntax above, otherwise it will not run properly and bomb.

To run, type the following command in DOS or in a Windows 3.11/
Windows 95 DOS window:

ABGTE2

After the introduction graphics are finished, you will be asked to click
the mouse. Click the mouse using the left button. The first chapter
will give you instructions on how to use the tutorial, including how to
use the remote, navigating from page to page, chapter to chapter,
and running and viewing demonstration (demo) programs.

When a demo program stops running, you will hear a loud beep. Simply
press any key on the keyboard and you will be returned back to the
demo menu. The demo menu is explained in the chapter on how to use
the tutorial software.

When you are finished running the tutorial, bring up the remote and click
the Quit button. The remote is explained in the chapter on how to use
the tutorial software. You will then see a goodbye screen
(a rust coloured metal wall with flashing red lights and my picture).
Press any key to stop the program.

Please do not alter or delete any of the files in the directories
DEMOS, GRAPHICS, and DATA. If you do, the tutorial will not operate
properly.

The tutorial is designed to be easy to operate and understand. However, if
you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at
moggie@interlog.com or moggie@tor.ebean.com.

Once again, thank you for using this tutorial, and good luck in your
adventures in programming :)
