Note: This program does not have to be compiled to be executed. The .exe
file supplied "speech.exe" is completely executable. However if you
want to modify the source code you will need the Tegosoft package
as defined in the .doc file, unless you have your own driver.

The program expects to see the speechm.wav, speechf.wav, and
speech.exe files on the same area. It doesn't matter where you place or
call .txt files in mode 2. The other files may be placed anywhere as
well. Enter the text file "speech.txt" as a demo in mode 2
 on the menu.

I would really appreciate your input on what I've done so far.

I added the feature of Text to Speech as it is being displayed or as it
 happens in version 0.6

A nasty bug was fixed in handling large .txt files in version 0.7

A new speechm.wav file was added in version 8. This slightly improved
performance of the male tone. However, the female tone wave file was
not changed, my wife has had broncitus for the last 3 months.

The vowel and consonant sections still need some work as you shall see. I
guess it is an on going battle as the program encounters some new words.

NOTE: The .wav files were chopped in half with a wave editor so
now you can fit the whole smear on one floppy. The .wav
files were fine tuned with a wave editor.

Place speechm.wav, speechf.wav, and speech.exe files on the
        same area then type:

                        Speech then enter

Finally I don't invision and further revisions or changes. This is
of course I receive a significant input from some user.
