This Demo version of URL Grabber may be freely distributed as long as all the files in its archive are included in the distribution. ======================================== Brooklyn North Software Works 25 Doyle Street Bedford, Nova Scotia B4A 1K4 Canada Email: harawitz@brooknorth.bedford.ns.ca ======================================== This archive contains all the files you need to run URL Grabber, with the exception of VBRUN300.DLL. ===================================================== NOTE: In order to use URL Grabber, you will need to have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL installed in your Windows or Windows/system subdirectory. If you don't already have it, you can find VBRUN300.DLL as a self-extracting archive file, VBRUNZIP.EXE, at ftp.cs.dal.ca/htmlasst/. VBRUN300.DLL is also available at many other MS Windows related FTP sites. Execute the archive file (by double-clicking on its name in File Manager) and it will give birth to VBRUN300.DLL. After backing up to a diskette, you can delete the archive file from your hard drive when you are finished with it. If it is not already there, copy VBRUN300.DLL to your Windows or Windows\System subdirectory. ==================================================== Install the files from the URL Grabber archive in their own subdirectory. For example, C:\GRABBER. The program executable is URLGRABR.EXE. Follow the instructions in your Windows manual to install it as an icon in Windows Program Manager. You can also double-click on the file name in Windows File Manager to run the program. Among the other files included are: COMMDLG.DLL CMDIALOG.VBX THREED.VBX You may leave these files in the URL Grabber subdirectory, or copy them to your Windows or Windows\system subdirectory. NOTE: If you have other files with the same names already installed in your Windows or Windows/system subdirectory, you may not have to use these. However, when you try to run URL Grabber, you may get an error message telling you that you have an incorrect, or out of date, version of one of these files. In that case, replace (in your Windows or Windows/system subdirectory) what you already have (after making backup copies) with our file. We know that these work with our software. GRABBER.HLP is an MS Windows Help file and may be left in the directory with the executable file or copied to your Windows subdirectory. See the URL Grabber "Help" file (by clicking the button with the "?" on the toolbar) or the file, USE_GRBR.TXT, for instructions on how to use the program. ================================================
