Krafcheck, reg. fee: $20) is a Windows version of the classic Battleship board game. You can pit America's navy against the Japanese or the British against the Germans. Try to pinpoint your enemies naval fleet by searching the peg positions on the board. With each play, watch as the missile hits a target, sending the vessel into flames, or as it splashes into the ocean. Sink the entire fleet before they sink yours and you win. Keno for Windows 2.0 [KENO2] (Don Hofer, reg. fee: $12) is based on the popular Vegas gambling game. KENO+PLUS 1.0 [KENOPL] (Keno+Plus, reg. fee: $10) is a Windows' version of the popular casino game Keno. The player can readily determine the odds and payoffs of all possible outcomes for a given ticket. Black Box 1.1 [bbox11] (Simon Farrell, reg. fee: $5) is a logic game where you have to figure out the location of targets in a grid by firing rays into the box from any edge. Olson, reg. fee: $5) is a simple strategy game you play against the computer. You must select from 1 to 3 dots in a line each turn, and the player to capture the last dot wins. Fifteens 1.0 [fiftn10] (Philip Bush, reg. fee: $5) an innovative solitaire game. A grid of cards is generated and you must remove sets of cards whose value totals 15. Face cards can only be removed in sets of 4 like cards. Other features include a top scores list and a timer option. Requires VBRUN300. Frustration [frust] (Chad A. Olson, reg. fee: $12) is a game of luck and skill where you try to get all the tiles on the playing field crossed out. This is accomplished by rolling the dice and then selcting a tile or a number of tiles with points that match the total of the dice roll. There is a 25-game limit to this version. Pyramid 1.6 [pyr16] (Philip Bush, reg. fee: $5) is an interesting version of solitaire where you must remove pairs of cards whose value totals 13. Requires VBRUN300. Amazon Skulls 1.0 [skulls] (TOGGLE BOOLEANS, reg. fee: $0) is an unusual strategy game for Windows. You take turns with the computer placing skulls on the playing grid, making sure that the skull being placed touches the last skull played but no others. Three different skill levels are available, and the playing grid ranges from 5x6 to the "Pit of Death" (shown). If the rather gruesome skulls are not to your liking, you can change them to happy faces. SuperShowDown [SSD] (reg. fee: $0) is a fun game of poker solitaire for Windows 3.1. You must try to deal yourself 12 poker hands onto a 5x5 grid. The computer caculates your scrore as each card is played. This is not especially easy to win, because the computer receives 5 points for every card you play that doesn't pay off. Word Search for Windows 3.0 [WORDSRCH] (Steven D. Stern, reg. fee: $15) makes scrambled word puzzles from a set of words you enter.
