It uses an experimental technique called Historical Events Analysis to try to predict stock price movement. The basic concept behind it is that certain events in a company's history will affect it's stock price Good news, price goes up. Bad news, price falls. Wall Street Messenger stores a history of these events and uses them to try to predict future direction of the stock price when such an event occurs again. The software is designed for the non-technical computer user and has extensive "on-line" context-sensitive help.
