----- Installation

   To install Ozapell Music Studio 2 on your system, unzip "OMS2.zip"
into a temporary directory and then run "setup.exe".

----- Minimum System Requirements

       CPU: 386 or higher required
            CPUs lower than a Pentium II will provide poor performance
       O/S: Windows 95/98 or compatible (NT 4 or later should work)
     Sound: Windows 95/98 compatible sound card with installed sound driver
     Video: 256 color (8-bit) or higher video recommended
    Memory: 32 megabytes (less should work but will result in slower
            performance)
            64 megabytes recommended
Disk space: 64 megabytes of free hard disk space required for installation,
            swap file, and saving project files

----- Overview

   Ozapell Music Studio 2 is a music composition and development system
using standard wave audio files (*.wav).

   Some features include:

   * Standard wave audio files are used instead of MIDI for realistic
     sounds and on-the-fly effects and filtering

   * 32-bit audio buffer used in mixing and filtering for higher
     quality results

   * Powerful filter plug-in system (similar in concept to the one found
     in Adobe Photoshop) allows others to develop filters and effects for
     use in the program

   * Beat-based design focuses on timing and is ideal for developing
     music for such genres as electronica, rap, industrial, house/dance/acid,
     trance, experimental, and other styles

   * Configurable tempo settings allow the user to understand sound timing
     in order to meet specific needs

   * Supports 48 to 800 beats per minute and each page has its own tempo
     setting

   * Projects are divided into 64 Beat Design pages that can be mixed
     together when the final wave file is processed allowing users to better
     organize groups of sounds or sections of a song

   * Each Beat Design page contains 16 tracks representing different
     wave files (samples) and each track has 32 configurable beats

   * Filter plug-ins can be applied individually to a whole page, an
     individual track (the sound that will be used for each beat), or a
     single beat

   * Import and export ability allows a user to copy and paste pages,
     track settings, and beat settings within the same project or amongst
     other projects

   * Preview ability allows a user to quickly test filters and effects
     on an individual page, track, or beat

   * Friendly windows-based environment for quicker development and simpler
     overall use

   * All wave files generated using this product can be used for any
     purpose, royalty-free

   The trial version of this product may be distributed freely to others
as long as nothing is altered or removed.  The personalized registration
key provided upon registering this product must not be distributed.

  There is no expiration in the current version.  This version will have a
limit of 3 commands per project until it is registered.  Registering this
product will unlock the ability to use up to 800 commands and the Volume
Control Window.
