Your keyboarding class in which you are enrolled has a number of basic class rules. The rules are for the purpose of keeping the class orderly and thereby assuring that each student can achieve to the level of his ability. Of course the rules are made to benefit all students, not just a few. Those students who choose to disregard the class rules harm not only themselves, but also other class members. As most students do enjoy keyboarding, many teachers of keyboarding are encouraged to learn that the great majority of students do attempt to observe the rules of their keyboarding class. And just what are these basic class rules? As for any class, it is essential that you get to class on time. When late to class, you often distract your fellow classmates as you make your way to your desk. And often the teacher must tell you what work you have missed. A second required rule is that you complete your assigned tasks. To complete your keying work you cannot allow yourself to waste time talking with your neighbor. And do remember that your neighbor has work he must complete. A third rule that your teacher must enforce is the clearing of all desks before class is ended.
