Back to Happy American Grease Days! Welcome to the Wonderful (and slightly Wacky) World of CARSoft! Cruisin' Clip Art contains 62 (where were you?) .PCX line art illustrations of cars, stars and nostalgia from the 1950s and early 1960s. They're great for notes, newsletters, posters, calendars, checks, labels, envelopes and all sorts of other purposes. Most of the illustrations are in black and white but we included a few in color to show you the possibilities of what you can do on your own computer. SHAREWARE - This collection is SHAREWARE which means that you can 'try before you buy'. Please use the illustrations for no more than three weeks before you make a decision to either become a registered owner or remove the art from your computer. WHY REGISTER? 1). To become a Registered Owner and have the legal right to use this artwork. 2). Help support CARSoft and encourage us to create more great stuff for you. 3). To get your copy of the Owner's Handbook. 4). It's inexpensive and you'll feel good about having done it. 5). Get on our mailing list and find out about other great CARSoft sets. HOW TO REGISTER - Send your name and address along with $10.00 (add $3.00 shipping and handling for your Owner's Handbook - total $13.00) to CARSoft, RD #1, Box 3694, Rutland, VT 05701. THE OWNER'S HANDBOOK - The Handbook contains thumbnails of the illustrations along with notes and details on each one; how to 'paint' and modify the illustrations (you can chop, channel, lower and custom 'paint' most of the car illustrations); how to put various CARSoft artwork together to create 'scenes'; using the artwork in word processing and desktop publishing applications; suggestions and ideas for using the artwork. CLIP ART - Yes, our artwork is 'clip art', meant to be added to publications (usually in small sizes), but it's actually a lot more! You can do some pretty amazing stuff with this artwork on your own computer including custom 'paint ' jobs. Some of the images are quite small and will not look all that great if you blow 'em up to poster size, but you will be pleased with the detail in the art. ABOUT CARSoft - We started CARSoft in 1994 when we couldn't find good auto art for our own use.
