TQF® "TYPESET QUALITY FONTS" NOTE: (Turn on WordWrap in Windows® Notepad) TQF® DESCRIPTION TQF® (Typeset Quality Fonts) are not like the usual "Shareware" offerings. Each character has been hand-drawn at a minimum of 700 points to insure that straight lines are absolutely straight and curves are smooth and accurate to 1/1000 of the character's point size. TQF® fonts will give you the highest possible resolution. The TQF® font generation process also enhances the font with "hinting" information to improve the typeface appearance at small point sizes. Of course there is a downward limit at which a given typeface no longer produces acceptable print quality. The limiting factors are your printer's resolution and/or the complexity of the individual font characters. TQF® fonts have been thoroughly tested in Word For Windows® and can be printed at 1250dpi without noticeable distortion or raggedness. Compare the quality of a TQF® font with an ordinary "Shareware" font. TQF® typeface fonts usually include the complete Windows® ANSI character set with all accented and special characters. If you have a question of whether it's a TQF® font, a TQF® font will have "TQF_" as the beginning of the font name. You can also print character 129 (ALT-0129). A TQF® font will have the initials "GEB" at that location. I proudly put my initials in the font as a means of identification and a mark of authorship. TQF® fonts are copyrighted in my name and the identification "TQF" is a registered trademark. While TQF® fonts may strongly resemble trademarked or other fonts in name or appearance, and often look identical as are they are sometimes designed to be, they are original works of fontography and not copies of the hard work of other individuals or companies. Many so-called "Shareware" fonts available today are crude copies of original and often copyrighted works and are created by scanning or auto-tracing. The resolution and quality of these fonts is usually quite poor and not worth the download time. My fonts that are not identified as TQF® fonts do not meet my exacting standards for TQF® classification but nevertheless are well above average in print quality. REGISTRATION The registration price of all TQF® fonts is only $1.00 each. My only business is fontography and your registration fees enable me to continue working. If you install this font on your system and decide to KEEP it, please register it with me, I don't do this just for fun. Registration entitles you to feel good about using my font(s). Registered users also get a VOLUME DISCOUNT of 50% on 10 or more fonts and a FREE typeface catalog. Please keep in mind that the "Shareware" concept allows you to try before you buy and relies solely on the HONOR system. To the one person in a hundred that has the honesty to register their font(s) (And that's about the average), I say "Thank You." To the other ninty-nine, "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits." DISTRIBUTION Please feel free to distribute this font to whomever you wish provided that this notice is distributed with the font. Shareware vendors and BBS operators may not charge a fee for any TQF® font. However, TQF® fonts may be freely distributed on any media provided that the only charge is for production of the media and the distribution cost. TQF® fonts are for the use of private individuals. Corporations or users with more than two (2) PC's should contact me for a corporate use license.
