1) What is STORE IT?
--------------------
STORE IT is a product allowing you to manage your own knowledge base.
You can store information, including text, file or document, organize
it into a hierarchy, and easily retrieve it using keywords.
STORE IT is available in both English and French language.

3) License and legal information
--------------------------------
STORE IT is a shareware product. You can use it for a 20 day free trial
period. If you decide to continue using it, ou are required to register
STORE IT by remitting to us the registration fee, which is only $25 for
a single user registration. See Help for further information.

STORE IT is the property of it author, Bernard Olivero.

Distribution is permitted provided you follow these instructions:
You are free to make copies of the distribution archive (SIxxxE.ZIP) and
pass it along to others for their evaluation provided that no modifications
or additions are made to the software, its documentation, or any associated
files, and it is not bundled in a distribution of any other software .

4) Installing STORE IT
----------------------
Unzip the distribution archive (SIxxxE.ZIP) and run the installation program
(INSTALL.EXE).


5) About the BDE (Borland Database Engine)
------------------------------------------
STORE IT uses the Borland Database Engine ("BDE"), which must be installed
in your system to let the product work. The BDE is automatically set up
when installing STORE IT.
If you have to install the BDE again, keep up with the following steps:
- Insert the first STORE IT installation diskette.
- Launch (ex using file manager) the program named SETBDE.EXE
- You should have to end then restart Windows to let it take the changes.
