.______________________________________________________. | | | An icon to install: to access the TSR from Windows | |______________________________________________________| Included in the FR_GRAM2.ZIP file is an icon (GRAM.ICO) that the user of FRGRAM2.EXE may wish to install in a Windows icon group. Also made available to you are three other icons one of which you may prefer. Rename it and then associate it with the FRGRAM2.EXE. [ You might title the program item: Fr_Gram2. ] If you have a problem with installing or associating an icon with the relevant program and do not find help in the Windows helpfile or in Chapter 3 of your Windows 3.1 manual or elsewhere, I would be happy to e-mail you instructions. Otherwise I will assume that you will be able to deal with the operation... Once installed in a Windows group the icon can facilitate the use of FRGRAM2. Clicking on the icon will install FRGRAM2 in RAM and place you in the DOS environment where you will be invited to press the Ctrl key together with the letter G on the keyboard. When you do that, the opening screen of FRGRAM2 will appear and the rest, well, will surely be a cinch. When you acquire the standard or registered version of FRGRAM2 (i.e. by ordering that version of FRGRAM2), you will find that the opening screen is the scrollable MENU. That screen is also the one to which you will always be returned when you press "Home" from whichever screen you may be at...in the TSR. [ Non-registered users, however, will be returned to their opening screen and will then need to Page- Down several times to reach that MENU. ] When you exit the TSR, you will be returned to a DOS screen that will remind you to press Ctrl + C ... to return to Windows... I trust that the above explanation is both clear and sufficient. Good luck! B.G.P. BenGP@aol.com
