Story Fun is one of those silly, fill in the blank story generators you've
mostly likely run across before.  It is designed for children who can read 
independently or for younger children who have the help of an adult.  In
the program, the child enters his/her name, a friend's name, makes some 
choices about colors, fruits, vegetables, and shapes.  The computer then 
takes this information and puts it into 5 original stories, sometimes making
very funny groupings.

I am not a professional children's story writer and, therefore, the stories 
may not be the absolute best, but they are nice; no violence or controversial
issues.  And, they are short; from 1/2 to 1 printed page in length.

The stories can be viewed on screen and/or printed (this gives the child the
opportunity to illustrate it themselves.)  To start the program, simply type
STRYFUN1 at the DOS prompt and follow the instructions provided.

I am making this program available with no strings attached (no registration
fees or such) as my gift to all the children out there except I do ask two 
things.  1) Please give me some feedback via E-mail on what you think of the 
program.  If you'd like to see more of this, say so and I will try to write 
more when time permits.  If you think it's a piece of junk software, please 
let me know that as well. If I do not receive many E-mail notes, I will be 
forced to assume that I am wasting my time.  2) I also ask that you take a 
few minutes to browse my catalog of educational software (included as 
SOFTCAT.EXE)  I am not trying to force things on anyone, but I would like 
the chance to show the programs I have created.
