MetaFix application note:

MetaFix lets you view, navigate and edit financial data stored in MetaStock / CompuTrac data format.

MetaFix was created for Windows 95.

MetaFix is shareware - it is not free. There is a 30 trial evaluation period.

INSTALLATION

Simply copy all files to a new directory of your choice. The license.txt should be read before use. The application is metafix.exe. It works by searching your drive for all occurences of a file named "master" (no extension). All CompuTrac and MetaStock data are indexed via files of the name master.

sample.zip is a sample of three stocks in CompuTrac/MetaStock format for those who do not have data in that format yet but wish to give MetaFix a test drive. Suggested use is to create a new directory anywhere, move sample.zip to it, unzip and delete sample.zip. The result will be files: f1.dat, f1.dop, f2.dat, f2.dop, f3.dat, f3.dop and master. That's it!
